From inside the app
- Open Aurum and sign in
- Tap You at the bottom
- Tap Close your account
- Enter your password, or sign in with Apple or Google again if that is how you sign in, and type

If you cannot sign in
Email nawshadbaway@gmail.com from the address on your account, or ask at your club's front desk. We will confirm it is you before deleting anything. Freelance coaches close their account this way too: courses are taken off sale (buyers keep their copies), and an account cannot close while a payout is still waiting.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number, password and picture
- Your Apple or Google sign-in — signing in with it again later makes a new, empty account
- Your date of birth, gender, height, goal, health notes and emergency contacts
- Your weigh-ins, measurements, food and supplement records, food scans, training records, plans and exercises you made yourself, and achievements
- Your conversations with coaches, for both sides — except reported messages, kept out of both inboxes for up to 180 days so the report can be judged
- Your sign-ins, device registrations and notifications — notifications stop immediately
- Your vehicles, entry cards, extra room access, waiver signatures and unused offer codes
- Your comment on any coach you rated
- Notes written about you on the records below, the reasons a membership was cancelled or frozen, and the card number read at the door
What is kept, and why
What remains is a numbered entry with nothing in it that says who you were, and these records attached to it:
- Invoices, payments, tab history, memberships, personal training sessions, counter sales and rentals — a gym has to keep its financial records
- Your purchases from Aurum — Pro, scan packs and courses, from the App Store, Google Play or the website — for Aurum's accounts and tax, and because each course sale is part of what its coach is paid
- Check-ins, class bookings and door attempts — the club's own attendance history and door log
- The stars you gave a coach, which are part of that coach's average
- Offer codes you used, so the shop and Aurum can count which offer worked
- The club's record of what its staff did, with your card numbers and internet addresses removed
- Incident reports, which no longer point to you, though what staff wrote in them is not changed
Aurum Pro keeps billing until you cancel it
A Pro subscription is billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by Aurum. Deleting your account does not stop it: cancel it in your store subscriptions.
One thing that will stop deletion
If there is money left on your tab, collect it at the front desk first. Your account will not close while the club still owes you something.
How long it takes
Deletion from the app is immediate. Requests by email are handled within 30 days. Erased details leave every backup within 30 days after that, as the oldest backups are deleted.
